Conversation Classes
Small-group sessions built around real dialogue, not drills — for learners who want fluency, not just grammar.
/ˌɪnstɪˈtjuːt əv ˈlæŋ.ɡwɪ.dʒɪz/ · est. Central, Hong Kong
Hello.
A language school in the heart of Central where conversation comes first. Small classes, native-speaking teachers, and a curriculum built around the way you'll actually use the language — at work, while travelling, or simply to feel at home somewhere new.
"Class sizes here are never more than eight. You're heard from the first lesson."
/əˈbaʊt/
Institute of Languages was founded in Central with a simple premise: people learn a language fastest when they're actually using it. We moved away from textbook drills early on and built a programme around real conversation, situational role-play and the specific vocabulary our students need — for the boardroom, the classroom, or the customs line.
Today our teachers come from twelve countries and teach in their native language. Classes stay small by design — eight students at most — so every learner gets corrected, challenged and heard in every session. Whether you're preparing for an HSK exam, relocating for work, or simply want to order dinner in Lyon without pointing at the menu, we build the course around you.

A few words from students and corporate partners.
I'd tried apps for two years with nothing to show for it. Six months of evening classes here and I interviewed for my Shenzhen transfer entirely in Mandarin.
We enrolled our whole client-services team in French before opening the Paris office. The trainers adapted lessons to our actual email threads — genuinely useful.
My son went from dreading homework to asking for extra Japanese workbooks. The teachers make eight-year-olds want to keep going.
